What’s in my bag?

Hi, guys. Sorry for not being able to blog earlier:) I wanted to do an article about my first follower on Youtube. Her name is Katherine Bennett. But she didn’t reply, and work piled up so I had to put this blog aside:(
Anyway, I thought I should share with you what makeup I have in my bag. It’s just three items, but they are things I would never be without (or I left them there and forgot:) haha).
So, listed from the foreground to background; Rhomlon Khol Eye Pencils Color No. 55/11 (basically a dark brown eye pencil) [$1.20, depending on which Chameleon branch you go to]
Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara in 10 Noir (black) [$2.00, bought at Chinatown]
Nivea Lip Balm in Soft Rose (pale sheer pink) [my mom gave to me]
Okay, so Rhomlon isn’t exactly a great eye pencil brand, but it is cheap and the color is good for adding under-eye liner shadows. I can also tightline with it, although it will smudge on the lower waterline (I usually only tightline the upper lid waterline, which is basically the fleshy band between your upper lid eyelashes and the lid. More on that in another article.) It’s great when you have to run out of the home without makeup and, since it’s a pencil, makes drawing eyeliner on easier. It is also very smudgy, so if you have shaky hands, just scribble a line on the lid and smudge. But if you want the look to last then you need a good primer underneath. 😀
I know Chanel is a high-end makeup brand, but this mascara I found is PERFECT. I mean, it is not marketed as waterproof or curling, like my former Maybelline Hyper Curl Waterproof mascara (had to throw it away after it started flaking and clumping. Dark days, very dark days.) Anyway, the Chanel mascara holds the curl from my eyelash curler very well, and it doesn’t smudge on my lower lids. To me, that’s double wins, especially since I have oily-ish lids and straight Asian-Chinese lashes. Le sigh. But it’s small and the brush is amazing, so I can lug it around
The Nivea Lip Balm, as I’ve stated above, was from my mother. The color didn’t wear very nicely on her, so she gave it to me. It’s very pink in the tube, and smells like roses, but the color is fairly sheer. But it might be different for other people because I have pigmented lips (pink in the center, and a brown layer on the outer rim). It’s also quite moisturising, but doesn’t have SPF. I also use it to moisturise my lips at night, then pop it in my purse in the morning. Although, sometimes I forget:P
So, yeah, that’s what I always have in my bag. Thanks for reading! Please comment and share:)
