NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Vault Challenge – Day 2 – Stockholm

Hi everyone, it’s been awhile.

20170104_185253_HDR.jpgI finally got around to editing the next video for this challenge. I created this myself, so I don’t think there’s anyone else really doing this. Hope you enjoy:)

A short story about me and the shade Stockholm.

I do own the shade in its original sized tube. This was back when I was a lot tanner, and it worked then as a nude. It’s more like a deep peach beige now, and also I’ve learned what an actual nude looks like (more on that in another post).

When I did this look, it had been awhile since I had worn the colour, and I felt such nostalgia while applying it. I had forgotten how much I liked the shade. But I also don’t see a need for the shade right now, since I did find my nude shade.

I would say that this is a perfect nude for people from Mac shade NC30 to about NC43? I’m not so clear about the colours, but I think the range is correct. In the picture, I’m around MAC Prolongwear NC25, and I use it both under my eyes and also on spots. I also use Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control SPF 50+ PA +++ in 31 Brown. I am currently only using this cushion, just spot concealing, or CC Creams (which basically renders skin colour unnecessary, something that I have had to struggle with because I can’t tell people what shade I am for the longest time).

I hope this has been an enjoyable and interesting time with me. I will post again soon:D
